Kingdom Kids
Hello, welcome to the Kingdom Kids children’s ministry! At Vineyard Sacramento we are making the care of our children a high priority. We believe that each and every child is precious to the Lord, and we are dedicated to their spiritual training. We strive to create a cooperative effort where we all join together in teaching and sharing the love of God with these little ones. In addition, we offer the security of knowing that all teachers and helpers have filled out applications and are fingerprinted through the Department of Justice. We care about the safety of our kids! Here’s what we currently offer for Sunday gatherings:
Babies through kindergarten: The babies are separated in an area of their own away from the older children where they are provided with constant supervision and age appropriate toys. As they play they will hear bible stories as they are read to the older children, and will receive prayer! Make sure to change your babies when you drop them off, as we do not have teachers change diapers during the class. Class time includes games and physical activity, songs,crafts, bible stories, and prayer. We balance times of socializing and play with the teaching of Christian values. The children also receive a light snack to satisfy those “rumblies in their tumblies!”
1st through 6th grade: We kick off this class with a few games to get things rolling! Then we endeavor to learn about Jesus and what it means to follow him in a fun and interactive way. Bible stories, crafts, games and discussion time are just some of the activities your children will participate in on their journey to discover a personal walk with God!
We can’t tell you how excited we are at Vineyard Sacramento to be a part of the spiritual growth we witness in the lives of our children! We know that the Lord finds joy in the impartation of his love to the innocent as they grow. We also know that our creative God has blessed each and every one of us as stewards of his next generation with special gifts and talents to share. As part of our vision we are working to create a team effort in which every adult would share in the responsibility of shepherding his children. We are inviting all regular attenders who are interested in being part of a teaching team, to fill out an application, get fingerprinted, and go through the interview process.
